 AGN West Asia & Africa Board Meeting, Bahrain June 2010 |

A meeting of the Board of Directors of the region was held on June 26 in Bahrain.
The meeting’s agenda included the appointment of two new Directors to increase the geographical coverage of the Board within the region, a review of the 2009 strategic plan and progress to date, approval of two documental strategies set out in the strategic plan – regional brochure and tax information, approval of the regional Member Visit Programme and approval of the financial statements for 2008 and 2009 and the agreement of the budget for 2010 together with related member firm subscriptions.
The schedule for future meetings was decided and agreed including a pre-meeting tour to be held before the regional meeting 2011 in Sri Lanka. The agenda was expansive and reached a successful outcome.
